As I searched high and low through my mountains of older photos on my hard drive I found myself looking at all my old FOTD pictures. It's amazing what a year or two can improve. While my blending, eyebrows, mascara and skin has gotten much better...I feel as though one thing I have lost is my love of playing with colors and placement. Something I wish I hadn't. I decided to do some posts of my old FOTDs hoping it would flame some inspiration.

I'll be honest, lately I haven't been very bothered to do my makeup. And when I do it's usually neutrals, color has just not been working out for me lately. But today I am setting a goal to play with color again. I will not back down to my neon purples and kelly greens, I will win the war over color!

I also want to say, while I love my DSLR camera, I don't have a macro lens and looking through old photos makes me long for my old point and shoots and their fine crisp macro setting.
