Hello Kitty bling nails with Incoco

I've been waiting to use my more "realistic" looking Hello Kitty fimo stick and I finally did, along with a ton of rhinestones. All layered over Incoco glitter french manicure stickers (full review coming soon).

I think I'm getting better at slicing my fimo sticks thin, what a pain. And here is a fun fact: Hello Kitty is a Japanese Bobtail and so is the "beckoning cat" along with my pet Skrinkle. Here is a picture of him, lounging around pretending to be a vampire.

Claire's Excited/Bored mood polish

Claire's Excited/Bored is a coral color in the bottle that fades to a coral orange cream. I had some application issues with this one, if you look at the middle finger you can still see bare streaks after 3 coats.

And then check this out- what is this crap? After a couple of hours of sitting on my butt and doing nothing other than hanging out and watching Strangers with Candy (one of my favorites). I used top and bottom coats- not happy about this one!

10x Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick swatches

And I think that finishes up my Super Lustrous collection! I really like the formula on these and highly recommend them for drug store lipstick. They also have a fantastic color selection.

Eyeko Petite, Rain and Lilac polish

Some quick Eyeko polishes!

First we have Petite Polish which is too sheer for me to wear, my nails are stained from pink polish as you can tell and they are also rather yellowed. This is a very pretty sheer though and it applied nicely and isn't streaky. This was 3 coats.

Lilac Polish, while pretty isn't the most original color. It's a very true lilac shade but it's been so done recently that it isn't exactly special. 2 coats.

And Rain Polish, which I think is gorgeous! It reminds me a little of Essie's Sag Harbor that I longed for so long after. It's a dusky light blue with silver gray shimmer. Love! 2 coats.

Wet N Wild Coloricon palette swatches

If you haven't already seen these and you enjoy eyeshadow at all then you need these!
L-R: Vanity, Pride, Greed, Lust

Ready for their closeups!
Vanity:

Pride:

Greed:

Lust:

These palettes are fantastic, the color payoff is great and they are very smooth and easy to blend unlike a lot of drug store eyeshadows. They also have singles and trios but for the price these palettes are the best. These sell for around $5 in most drugstores so run to the closest one and pick these up!

Maybelline Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2010 lipstick swatches

I found the display for the Maybelline Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week Fall 2010 collection the other day and you know I couldn't resist adding a couple more colors to my collection.

I picked up both Berry Beautiful- a gorgeous juicy berry that is perfect for my personal palette for fall and Wined and Dined- a lovely deep warm red with a hint of brown. Both the colors are very glossy, which I love.

As with all the Colorsensational lipsticks I own these have a good texture and are non drying.

China Glaze Flying Dragon

Somehow I managed to not have this in my collection until a couple months ago and somehow I also managed to not wear it until recently. This is a gorgeous bright but still dark purple with fuchsia and blue glitter throughout. It is a neon so I needed 4 coats to be fully opaque. I think this is a fun Halloween color.

And here is Apollo wearing her new Halloween jammies, still need to work out her costume! And if you click it large you can check out her pink claws ;)

Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color

When I don't like a product I try to keep on the positive side and not be totally negative but sometimes there is just a product I can't think of a single nice thing to say about...
Okay, I should have seen this coming probably. This lipstick is horrible. I mean look at it. It's chunky, nubby, odd shaped and pretty flat. Now look below at the swatch of Stoplight Red to see what kind of application this gave me:
Yeah, not pretty! This lipstick is dry and hard to apply anyways but mix that in with the weird nubby shape and it gets even worse. Getting this around the corners of my lips was the impossible without making a mess and defining the cupid's bow was a joke. I consider myself pretty good at applying lipstick, I can even apply reds without looking in a mirror pretty damn well. But I have met my match, Mega Last...you evil SOB Mega Last.

And that's another thing. Mega Last my butt, this stuff doesn't wear any better than any other standard lipstick. Oh boy though, it does have that unpleasant dry feeling I associate with long-lasting lip color though.
Hmph, and I was just starting to trust you for things other than polish Wet N Wild...

Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers Glitter Eyeliners!

Woot, I love glitter! I was so excited when I saw these babies in Rite Aid. From left to right we have Magical- turquoise glitter, Mystical- amethyst shimmer, Cryptic- silver glitter and Secrecy- emerald glitter. I'm usually pretty happy with their liners so I scooped these babies up.
They are your typical tiny brushed liners, nothing special. The thing that bugs me the most is I had to slice into the label to open these. Either make it a little peeley label or one that breaks, especially if the only place that says the name is the label (I don't count the number on the bottom).

The only other problem is these are a little slow drying, which I've noticed a lot of glitter based liquids are :( It's nothing I can't work around but just not convenient to use sometimes.

The picture below shows 2 coats on the left column, 1 coat on the right.

And here they are over black- instant glam!

And while I was there I spotted this too, who doesn't love holo glitter!

MAC Thrills & Funbathing

Better late than never? These are from this years summer collection To The Beach. I tried but could not pass getting something from this collection, I thought the packaging was so cute. These are two unique shades, I'm not sure how to explain either of them! Thrills is kind of a bronze-pink and Funbathing is kind of a red-berry with gold shimmer.

Twitter

As I try to get more into using it (and I still don't *quite* get it) I figured I would point out to ya'll that I've added in the left sidebar links to my twitter account, please feel free to follow! There is both the little birdie on the left and a recent tweet box you can use to find me.

If you use twitter, leave me a link in my comments and I'll follow you! :)

Sinful Colors Bamboo

Bamboo is from a new collection from Sinful Colors that for the most part looked pretty bleh to me. Although, now I think I might not have been in the mood (blasphemy, I know). But I've only seen it in one Rite Aid and haven't gone back to look again. Anyways, Bamboo is a very pretty green-teal. It had a great application, 2 coats to be opaque and it is just a beautiful shade.

Overwhelmed by drug store collections

I'm just curious if it's just me...is anyone else feeling totally overwhelmed by drugstore nail collections?

The last time I went I saw at least 2 new Sally Hansen collections and now I see there is a 3rd I've yet to see, Milani has at least 2 they are promoting currently. On the same shelf displaying all of these there was also new Sinful, Maybelline, and L'Oreal collections for the fall. And I know there are 2 or 3 Revlon collections I haven't been able to find anywhere yet.

Just seems like a lot to me and trying to keep track of them is making my head spin! And my wallet cry. I've spent more money on drugstore polish in the last couple months than on Transdesign in the past year, there seems to be something wrong with that!

MAC Drive Me Wild & Viva Glam Cyndi

Just a swatch for you from the recent MAC Fabulous Felines collection, I only picked up one lipstick. I expected to want more than this but nothing else really struck my fancy. Whether this is good or bad has yet to be decided.

How would you describe Drive Me Wild? It's a weird one, kind of brownish red with copper gold shimmer.

And here is Viva Glam Cyndi that I finally picked up, for some reason I didn't want it before but I finally decided to pick it up and I am so glad I did. I'm sure you've seen it before but beautiful semi-sheer coral can never get old.
