I have two swatches for ya from the new Lip Perfection formula from Cover Girl. These are really soft and creamy, I recommend using a lip liner because as you can see in the swatches they are easy to mush around and bleed a little. I do prefer a little less slippery formula but this does feel very moisturizing- almost like a balm. Here are the two colors I've tried:

When swatched on my hand they were closer than I expected. Fairytale is a little more sheer, a shade lighter and a shade pinker.

So, if Toxic Tale was a little too strong for your tastes I highly recommend picking up Fairytale.

The one thing I'm really hating about these lipsticks? There is no damn product name anywhere on the tube. No, the color name IS on the bottom but what the line is? No where to be found. This bugs me to no end.

I found these at CVS, I've also seen them at Walmart and you can find them at Walgreens for around the same price, $7.49.

I am blown away by how gorgeous these are. Such vibrant colors! I have a lot of Fyrinnae shadows but these have potential to become favorites (I'm looking at you La Noche and Calvera Cupcakes). And look below at the cute little sugar skulls on the labels, it's the little things that make me happy and this is one of them.

I randomly round this tube in another display (I think it was Wet n Wild) and have never in all my drug store roaming spotted a single other tube of this lipstick. I find this a little weird. Anyways, Sally Hansen Natural Beauty lip stick in Sunburst is a very pretty pink-peachy color and the formula feels very sheer and moisturizing. I would pick up a couple more of these if only I could find them...

Violetta had been on my want list for awhile and I was ecstatic when I read it was coming out in this collection. It is a slightly pink dark purple with shimmer.

There were several other tempting lipsticks but I decided to purchase a couple other things instead.

And I think that finishes up my Super Lustrous collection! I really like the formula on these and highly recommend them for drug store lipstick. They also have a fantastic color selection.

When I don't like a product I try to keep on the positive side and not be totally negative but sometimes there is just a product I can't think of a single nice thing to say about...

Okay, I should have seen this coming probably. This lipstick is horrible. I mean look at it. It's chunky, nubby, odd shaped and pretty flat. Now look below at the swatch of Stoplight Red to see what kind of application this gave me:
Yeah, not pretty! This lipstick is dry and hard to apply anyways but mix that in with the weird nubby shape and it gets even worse. Getting this around the corners of my lips was the impossible without making a mess and defining the cupid's bow was a joke. I consider myself pretty good at applying lipstick, I can even apply reds without looking in a mirror pretty damn well. But I have met my match, Mega Last...you evil SOB Mega Last.

And that's another thing. Mega Last my butt, this stuff doesn't wear any better than any other standard lipstick. Oh boy though, it does have that unpleasant dry feeling I associate with long-lasting lip color though.
Hmph, and I was just starting to trust you for things other than polish Wet N Wild...

Just a swatch for you from the recent MAC Fabulous Felines collection, I only picked up one lipstick. I expected to want more than this but nothing else really struck my fancy. Whether this is good or bad has yet to be decided.

How would you describe Drive Me Wild? It's a weird one, kind of brownish red with copper gold shimmer.

And here is Viva Glam Cyndi that I finally picked up, for some reason I didn't want it before but I finally decided to pick it up and I am so glad I did. I'm sure you've seen it before but beautiful semi-sheer coral can never get old.
