Revlon Grape Ice & Gumdrop scented polish + recycling nailpolish?

I have a question for all of you. I really want to do a big giveaway and as I was going through my polish collection the other day I was thinking. I have a literal ton of polishes I've only swatched or worn once that I will never touch again. I'm pretty big into reducing my footprint on the planet and taking steps to live green so I ask you: How would you feel about a giveaway featuring polishes that aren't brand spanking new? Like I said, these have all only been worn once or swatched by me and they are some great polishes that just aren't getting enough love (including the Revlons swatched in this post). Tell me your thoughts in the comments please :)

Here are swatches of the two Revlon scented polishes I picked up. They both had really pretty colors- in fact I LOVE the color of Gum Drop. I compared it to all my light purples and it came close to none of them. The scents aren't really my thing though, I recall having scented polish when I was younger and loving it but ick, no more for me! These are five coats each (could probably get away with 4 or less if you aren't impatient like me :P) and a top coat of Poshe.

Gumdrop, which has a sweet general scent to it:

Grape Ice, smells like grape but not real grape. Like grape scented items (remember scented stickers? Yeah, that grape):

You know what? I think most people wouldn't care if the polish had been worn before. It isn't like lipgloss or eyeliner that has an "ick" factor if it's been used before.

I think that as long as you clearly state that it's been used when you announce your giveaway, most people won't care, and the ones who do care don't have to enter.

I wouldn't mind one time used nail polish personally. ;)

I have no problem with your proposal. I sell used polishes (CLEARLY labelled as such) on ebay and buy used polishes therefrom. Crikey, you don't get a new bottle of polish when you get a mani from a salon

I think it's great idea. I hate waste and I think we should all be doing this. Count me in. As Lissa says, people don't have to enter.

GREAT IDEA.

Yeah a great idea to give away used polishes. I'm thinking of doing the same for my next giveaway. It's silly to have bottles sitting there you never use and then buy new ones! People would probably love to own most of those polishes and doing it that I way I can afford to giveaway more items!
