Black to gold EOTD

EOTD? Okay not really, but I'm not sure what else to call it?
Sometimes when I'm bored I like to play with my makeup- experiment with different ways of shading, colors, contouring, shapes and all that good stuff. Typically I don't intend to leave the house with this makeup on and I usually end up doing two different things on each side of my face. Today's post is one of those, I'll post the other half tomorrow but today I offer you this:
I was curious to see what it would look like to use black only in the inner corner, I expected the results to be a little scary but I'm really not sure how I feel about it. What do you think?

Oh my! This is absolutely beautiful! I always do a smokey eye, but I've never done a reverse smokey eye (which is what I'd call your look) and I LOVE it. I will be doing this tomorrow! Thank you for the inspiration. It's gorgeous!
