My first "funky" color was of course pink.
I began with a bottle of Special Effects Cupcake Pink and a haircut but due to not being able to buy Special Effects locally I switched to N'Rage Bubble Gum Pink and had much better results.

Faded N'Rage Bubble Gum Pink...
...and revived color using food dye in a shampoo cap!
The rest of these are also using N'rage Bubble Gum Pink
