Jumping on the blog wagon
Figure I might as well share my swatches and nail art with everyone out there in the blogging-world :)
So, I will begin with a review of one of the new Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polishes. I purchased Peachy Keen. I originally scoffed at the price tag of $6.50 for a rather commonly colored drug store brand polish and I'm not convinced it is worth that still...
I did four coats of Peachy Keen and it still is not opaque. I then did a coat of China Glaze Matte Magic over it. The formula is pretty standard, a little runny and nothing special. The first two coats were streaky and horrible looking so this needed at least three coats.. The brush is similar to the Insta Dry brush but a little wider and thicker it also feels cheaper than the Insta Dry brush- stiffer.
The wear was bad- this chipped the next day pretty easily but that could also be due to the matte top coat. Based on this polish I don't see myself shelling the $6.50 out for another bottle of this formula. The colors are all nothing special so there isn't much reason to return to this line. The color is pretty but not great. In store I expected a more beige tone but it is a true light pink with no shimmer. It would be a good french manicure color if it weren't so streaky.

Mmm, thanks for that. I was wondering how the brush would turn out. I really like the colour, but four coats is just not worth it.
Welcome to the nail blogging world! I hope you find it as super fun as I do!
Thanks Niki :)
And yeah, it is way too much difficulty for a pretty basic color!
