When I first swatched Show Orchid I said I wanted to compare it to Girl About Town but couldn't find it at the time. I found it a couple of days later and finally got around to comparing them. I would say that Girl About Town is slightly more red toned and Show Orchid has a slight blue shimmer. On me at least Girl About Town always comes out looking very red toned for a pink lipstick so I never wear it, clashes too much with the hair now anyways. I have to say I don't think I need both of them in my collection and I prefer Show Orchid.
I truthfully order a lot of Avon and I never see any of it swatched so I figure I will do a couple swatches here and there. This is Country Rose, which is a weird color. It's a warm toned pink/red with lots of shimmer and a slightly brown undertone.
Tomorrow will be a good day for me, I'm expecting both a Transdesign package full of CG Pool Side and the new Coheed and Cambria new album. In the next couple days I will be posting a HUGE Sinful Colors swatch post!
