IDK FOTD
I can't think of a clever name for this post so to not further delay this, I'm just going to call it IDK.
This is another look I did using colors from my Urban Decay Deluxe palette, and the highlight is another UD color that I absolutely love- Polyester Bride. It's one of the only eyeshadows I have ever finished a pan of- going on 2. It's the perfect soft pearly white with sparse silver glitter. The glitter I could do without but there is just something special about this shade.

A Feminine FOTD, mismatched earrings and my Bioshock tattoo
Today's post is a lil of this, lil of that. First I'll share my 'feminine' FOTD. I don't usually do soft colors but I absolutely love this pastel purple shade.
I have trouble sometimes with hitting my lid with my mascara brush. I've been using the Lash Blast BIG and yes, that brush is BIG. 
I started off wearing Snob on my lips...
...and then topped it with Toxic Tale when I decided it was TOO much pastels.Products Used:

I have recently been buying a lot of earrings on eBay, I picked up these cute mismatched spoon and fork ones a couple of weeks ago. I think they are so cute! Would you ever wear mismatched earrings?
And here is my newest tattoo, my Big Daddy. I can't wait to go back and get him filled in with color :) BTW, it's really hard to take photos of the back of your leg- even with a remote and tripod. And especially in heels.This entire leg (instead of a sleeve I'm going to be doing a "legging" as we've termed it) is going to be game themed tattoos, I already have a Silent Hill one on my inner ankle...which I never posted photos of (maybe when I post this one all colored in). This is my biggest piece so far and I love him. His name is Roy :D

Rediscovering my Deluxe palette FOTD
I remember when I first picked up the Urban Decay Deluxe palette. I must have used it everyday for months. It is a fantastic palette, the one I own that has gotten the most use for sure. But as you collect, even favorites get forgotten. So last week when I couldn't find my hand-mirror (my preference) I decided this palette's mirror would have to do. And upon opening it I decided to also use it for my EOTD.
This EOTD was way bigger a pain in the butt than I expected. Ransom, the purple crease color, is one I've always had a little trouble getting to show up right. The color isn't a bright purple, it's very easy to wash the purple straight out of the color and I kept having that problem. I had to super pack it in there to get it true to pan. And actually, now that I've gotten back into using this palette I've realized that quite a few shades are a bit of a pain to work with, kinda washed out and a little sheer (like the upcoming FOTD using Graffiti and Peace where you can barely even see the difference between them). Has anyone else ever thought this or am I solely alone and just being a brat?
Looking back though, I realize why I was so in love with this palette. Because it came with a small vial of Primer Potion. The first primer I ever used, and it completely changed things. Maybe my original love of this palette was one clouded by the power of primer.

5 Minute EOTD using Fyrinnae
Since I'm sick in bed with a fabulous fever, you guys get 2 posts today! I wore this last Friday to go to lunch with some friends. I have a tendency to set my alarm for the shortest amount of time to get ready possible (I love my sleep) so I threw this on quickly:

Frustrations with purple and other things
I feel like I've been a neglecting the blog this week. I've been pretty busy and really stressed out.
I know I've said it before, but purple eyeshadow and me are not friends. I don't know why but I have never found a purple that didn't give me trouble. Either it won't show up on my lid or during blending buffs off and leaves bald patches. I've tried so many and with all different bases with nothing but frustration to show for it. Why purple? I *love* purple! Why must you break my heart

This is a look I did to go out for lunch and shopping with a friend :) The purple would start off so much more vibrant and then end up fading out and leaving bald spots on top of that. So I would add some more to try and build it...not luck. And then I tried adding a darker purple in the crease- WELL I'M SORRY I DID THAT! We've all been there, spoiling a EOTD most of the way through or by adding that last little touch. Nothing is more frustrating! I tried 3 different darker purples and none of them wanted to work. I threw down my brushes and filled in my newly made "patches" and decided it would have to do.
I really haven't been doing my makeup lately, I've been super stressed out. Yesterday our apartment underwent an inspection, no big deal. But when the maintenance man who lives on the property basically threatens to hold random inspections to insure cleanliness (which is not an issue) I take offence. First off, legally he can't do that. Both because he can't enter our apartment without notice (which they have done, as recently as last month) and it very quickly steps into the zone of harassment. But that isn't even what I'm upset about.
Our complex will be changing management and with it, they will be enforcing a 1 pet per apartment rule. I am very upset about this, and plan on fighting. We have both Apollo and two cats; Skrinkle and Princess Pete (who we thought was a boy, thus the name). We've had the cats since our first apartment together, all our pets are literally our babies. And I'm not going to lie, they are my emotional support. The simple thought of them not being here makes me cry like a baby. The way people seem to think pets are disposable disgusts me, they are my family.
Now that I have that off my chest...

Purple and Yellow FOTD
Does anyone else have trouble colors? I always have trouble getting yellows (which I believe are commonly a problem color) and purples to show up and work how I want them too. Purples never stay vibrant enough, yellows always seem chalky.Products used:

And what is up with my eyebrows lately. I need to get me some eyebrow wax or something, any recs? I have the Milani brow kit but I'm not sure I'm loving it. I don't think the color is good for me.

Nicole By OPI Justin Bieber Collection
This post is gonna be a little bit pic heavy, just a warning. Please ignore any photos with lines, blogger is just not cooperating lately (grrrr).
Today I have the Justin Bieber collection from Nicole by OPI. I don't know how all of you feel about the Biebs but I have no beef with him. I'm really impressed with this collection and with the exception of one polish these were absolutely amazing to apply, like buttah. If you don't believe me check out how clean my gap is in these pictures (usually ;) ) something I can't quite achieve unless the polish has a nice application. It once again has the Perfect Stroke brush I've been telling you about again and again. And these colors? Gorgeous.
One Less Lonely Glitter- I love the name on this one, adorable. This is purple glitter both bit and small in a clear base. On the first coat I highly doubted it would become this opaque but this is 3 coats, not bad. This will be an awesome layering polish. The application on this one was impressive, I have gotten used to my glitters being difficult and thick.
How pretty is OLLG?
Me + Blue- I'ma tell you one time, I love this polish. If you haven't noticed by now if you throw glitter in anything I will basically fall in love with it. Me + Blue is no exception. Very true blue with holographic glitter strewn throughout. Love. It. 2 coats.
Just thought I would zoom right in on that for ya ;)
OMB- Oh. My. Bieber. Is that glass flecks I see? Oh, snap; it's love. I think I may be starting to love reds- the world must be coming to an end.
Give Me the 1st Dance- Beautiful silver foil, this was the one I was a little disappointed in only because I've seen these so many times before. This is nice and shiny though and wasn't overly runny like some metallics. This is 3 coats.
Are you ready for this next one? Because it's my perfect polish...
My Lifesaver- Robins Egg Blue. Think China Glaze For Audrey but a little lighter. The one thing about My Lifesaver better is that the application was flawless and need only 2 coats where with For Audrey I need 3.

Prized Possession Purple- This was the one I had some trouble with. It was a little on the runny side and the color is a little frosty. The color is nice though- purple with a slight blue shift. 3 coats.
Step 2 the Beat of My <3- This is over Prized Possession Purple. This is pink, lavender and white iridescent hearts suspended in clear glitter with very sparse iridescent glitter. This polish is simply cute.
Do you see what I mean about iridescent?

Golden Plum FOTD
I thought I had posted this but I guess not! I really don't remember what was used but I know that it involved Fyrinnae Polar Bear and Tapir and MAC Burnt Burgandy pigment!
