Milani Liquid Metal Intense Color- Gorgeous swatches!

When I spotted these babies in CVS my eyes lite up like crazy. The sun hit them so beautifully I couldn't help myself! Milani has really been impressing me lately with these gorgeous collections and I hope they don't stop anytime soon. I'll bring on the swatches...
This is my favorite of the group, gorgeous shimmy shiny bright orange. This is hot like the sun! Seriously. I painted my moms toes with this and the way this looks in sunlight is unlike any other polish I have. Serious reflective shimmeriness you MUST own! Plus, I like the name. I'm a nerd but I LOVE the Metal Gear games :D
Melt in the Sun is a pretty bronze/gold shade. I like this one but I think it makes my skin look to pink. This has the same awesome reflective quality as Metal Gear but the color doesn't have quite the same intensity. I bet this would look delicious on a gal with a tan or darker skin tone that I have. Alas, bronze/gold/brown just do not work out for me :(
Hot Metal is a disappointment for me. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, I don't usually like these shades of pink/purple. This one has a blue chrome/shimmer to it and depending on the way the light hits changes like crazy...at least in bottle. It loses a little of that quality on the nail but you can still see the shimmer on this. I would say this is the odd one out, it's a little darker and flashes a different color shimmer unlike the rest.
Mmm, Molten Rock...you are gorgeous! This is another bright and beautiful light catcher. Everything I already said about Metal Gear applies to this one.And a bonus swatch...
These all had a fantastic application, 2 thickish coats. I really wish I picked up the red color from this collection now despite my hatred of reds and if I see it I will be snagging it- that is for sure!

Color Club Rebel Debutante + leaf konad
Okay, maybe it's just me but in every swatch I've seen this is more of a bright light lime color but my bottle of Rebel Debutante is more of a dark kelly green. The last no flash picture shows best what color this is. Kinda disappointing but I still liked this color. I stamped it with China Glaze Millennium and one of the Bundle Monster plates in a leaf pattern and I really liked this NOTD! The BM full nail patterns are a little narrow and you can see where there is a slight gap on the sides of some nails.

13 Sally Girl swatches
These are only on 2 fingers since they are tiny little bottles. I really like most of these polishes and they have some great colors but do they make these in a larger size? I always get suckered into these because they are only 99 cents but really they aren't that great a value since they are minis. These are all 2-3 coats and they for the most part have great application.

Memorial day nails
This was my memorial day manicure done at the last minute sick in bed (yes, even sick in bed I do my nails). I used all Sally Hansen Insta-Dri colors: Rapid Red, Blue Blast and Whirlwind White. Using the peace sign from my new bundle monster plates I did a quick "tie-dye" with the red and blue. I really love how it came out! I did have some trouble with "bleeding" on this stamp which I had using other polish earlier on my mother's manicure but I've been playing with the BM plates and this is the first problem I've run into!

11 older OPI swatches
This is the majority of my OPI collection. None of them ever see any love from me and are all from older collections. These are all either 2 or 3 coats, none of them were difficult to apply.
With all the drama going on with OPI I will no longer be purchasing or swatching the brand because I don't wish to support them any further. I think the way they have handled things is very wrong, between the bloggers and e-tailers there is plenty of reasons they don't deserve my money. I never thought that their polish was worth the $9 (US) price tag and this just seals the deal. Why give advertising to a brand that threatens to sue bloggers when they technically have done nothing wrong? My blog may be small but I still don't feel comfortable giving them free advertisement.
