I don't really have much to say on these, they are alright but nothing I would purchase again. They aren't overly slick or sticky, just blah. (and truthfully I hated the color of Overtime Wine).

It claims to last up to 8 hours but it's a gloss, if you eat/drink/kiss/talk a lot or like me rub your lips together every 2 seconds it won't last anywhere near that long.

A very pretty glowing lilac with blue shift. Application was a little watery but nothing I can't deal with, 3 coats.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for lip stains? I don't like these nearly as much as my Revlon Just Bitten ones but I can't place why (and it's not just the balm). I want to say that these once they "set" seem to be darker where I have dry skin on my lovely dry lips but it doesn't always happen. Anyways, swatches!

A no-frills shimmery bright blue. Great application as usual with Orly. 3 coats.

Until now I've never found a shade in the Borghese line I would purchase. But this is worth every penny. It's a dark blue that flashes teal- best I can describe it. I find the brush to be a little difficult, stiff and large but I don't mind when the color is this pretty!

Anyway, this Halloween I am planning to be a "Flapper" since I already have a fringe dress (I know it's not traditional, but this is Halloween and treally my figure isn't very flapper like either ;) ) so all in all I will spend very little on my costume (under $10).

My take is a very glammed up version, if you are looking for a traditional look I would direct you over to Perpetual Flapper who will set you straight.

It's really a very simple look, the important part is covering the brows (I used the gluestick method) and filling them in with a very thin and straight brow (with tail pointing drastically down at the end optional). The other important part is the lip shape, something I have a bit of trouble with (and I blame my lip shape). I intend to wear my hair in a bob (my usual cut, I will get it chopped shortly before Halloween) and finger wave it hopefully.
